Our collective approach
The Hans Hess Foundation operates in a collectivist manner, building strategic alliances and co-hosting events with a diverse range of organisations.
Photo by Andreas Domma We work closely with our publisher, Manifesto Press, which also partners with Praxis Press. Our media partners include the socialist daily The Morning Star in Britain, Junge Welt and Neues Deutschland in Germany, and the Tricontinental: Institute for Social Research.
Back in Britain, we have also held events in Sheffield at Wortley Hall, the workers’ stately home.
Further projects include close collaboration with 'Insider's Outsiders' the project which so magnificently logs the cultural contribution made to Britain by central European refugees. We work with Thinking Hands - an arts project for disadvantaged youth and the The Bauhaus-Archiv / Museum für Gestaltung. Our Foundation played a leading role in the 2026 International Red Books Day.
